In-School Workshops for Pupils

The exam is an important part of GCSE Design and Technology. It is normally worth about 40% of the total marks. Good exam technique can make a difference of more than a grade.

Between us, the team at Attained have marked over thirty thousand pupil responses to GCSE exam questions in the last two years. This means we have an excellent understanding of the common mistakes that pupils make when answering questions.

Our results booster workshop for pupils presents a series of easily remembered hints and tips that help pupils achieve great exam technique. It uses examples to demonstrate the common mistakes and how they can be avoided. Applying these easy to remember approaches has led to dramatic improvements in pupil exam performance.

This course lasts two hours and can be delivered to groups of thirty at a time. A single adviser can teach two groups a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
