This is a PowerPoint based scheme of learning designed to teach Textiles to year 7 as part of the 2014 national curriculum at key stage 3. It has been written by an experienced Textiles teacher and has been fully tested in the classroom.
The resource is presented as a 26 slide PowerPoint based workbook that can be printed for pupil use and projected onto a whiteboard for teacher explanation/class discussion. It takes pupils through the complete design process to develop a ‘monster toy’. It also includes sample photographs of example solutions for making that have been produced in the classroom.
The resource is fully editable and so can be customised to meet local requirements.
